Falling into October

I love fall. It is so magical. So I have about a million pictures of the kids playing in the leaves. They spend hours out there when the weather and leaves are just right.

Mornings in the kitchen...
Here's cute Rach with her cute marching band buddies.

This is seriously one of my favorite pictures. I love that someone that knows how to take good pictures captured this one for me. They did amazing in their band competitions and even took second place in the state!

The kids have been playing a lot of baseball. I think they were inspired by the Dodgers winning the world series this year!!! We watched most of the games and it was SO fun to be a Dodger fan.
Rachel's slime.
All this destruction wears a guy out.

The new Layton temple was taking 'rock donations' that you could paint and they'd put it in the foundation. We painted some rocks and took them over to the temple site.

More leaves...

Trav got COVID so we all had to quarantine. Luckily he didn't get too sick. More just like a regular cold, but he lost his taste and smell for a day. It was the week of Halloween and they missed out on all their school Halloween stuff so we decided to do our own. We played Halloween games, watched Halloween movies, made Halloween cookies and we even made a craft.

Josh had to get a Covid test so he could still play soccer. That's a lot of spit!
When Jonah steals my phone I never know what I'm going to find on it.

We were able to go to Rach's band concert. They held it outside in the parking lot. Definitely different, but they did a good job!
Still playing in the stream.

Lots of chalk art. Jonah has become quite the little artist and is constantly drawing.
Kate and Will started going to school 4 days a week but Rach and Josh were still on hybrid. That made for a lot of fun little adventures with Jonah, Josh and I. (Rach had a ton of school work and usually couldn't come with us). I love how these 2 got extra bonding time in.

There were all these tiny little trees with signs on them. Most of the were Redwoods or Sequoias as part of a relocation project. We had to get a picture of a little Redwood and hopefully we'll get to go back in a few years and it will be bigger! (on the Lagoon trail)

We've also become frequent visitors of the ponds. Trav found a new cast on one of our walks.

And October means its applesauce making time! It was actually SO nice having everyone home to help.
