Girls camp 2023

Oh man! I don't even know where to begin with girls camp. I just love it so much and this year was especially amazing.  It was Rachel's last girls camp...so I got to be at her first and her last. I'm SO grateful I was able to go. And this was my first time going with Kate. We went to camp zarahemla.

I loved the assembly line of unloading the trailer.

Gosh I love these girls!
We did have cabins but the beds were a little squishy. You couldn't even sit up in bed so you had to shimmy your way in sideways.
The day we left to girls camp was Rachel's birthday! We had celebrated earlier but I couldn't let the actual day go by without celebrating one of my favorite girls. I had a few presents for her and cupcakes for everyone.

We then went around exploring the camp. I love the shirts
These two always have the best time no matter what they're doing.

We did lots of crafts.

Rach and Cameron were hammocking and the knot slipped out right as I was taking a picture of them. Ha ha!

Don't forget the skits...

We played lots of bunny bunny

The 3 musketeers

The next morning we woke everyone up at 5:00-ish am to hike up the mountain.
It was very quiet and beautiful. The whole theme for camp was "A Light in the Darkness" so this was such a cool activity
We got to the top to watch the sunrise.
It was the most spectacular sunrise I've ever seen.

It just kept getting better and better!

It was such a cool experience and I'm so proud of the girls for doing it and doing it so early!
Lots and lots of crafting...
Then we got to go on the giant slip n slide. It was so fun!

That night was our faith walk. This was the only picture I got of it but this too was such a cool experience between light and dark. Very powerful.
Cuties cooking in the kitchen
We also got to tube down the river. It was so fun we went a LOT of times. I barely got any pictures of this too because I was too busy playing!

Getting ready for testimony meeting

I forgot to mention we had duck races and my duck was the overall winner. Not to brag....but kinda to brag...
The last morning is always bittersweet. We hate to go home bu so grateful for the memories we made. We really do have the best girls on the planet.

And super fun leaders too.
Can't believe these 3 are done  with young womens! They will be greatly missed. I love them all so much!
