4th of July

I realize I didn't take many pictures on the 4th this year, so this is what you get. I'm just getting old, or lazy, or both, I guess. We did our normal routine in the morning with the Centerville breakfast, parade and carnival. That night we had my family over for a bbq then after they left we did some fireworks. Nobody wanted to stay for our amazing show. But we still had a good time!

 We do have an amazing show in the neighborhood. I love that we don't have to actually go anywhere.

 It even started to rain!!

Rachel's birthday

How on earth do I have a 14 year old?!? We celebrated Rach's birthday in June and now she's practically an old woman...or maybe that's me. Either one.

 Hold up 14 fingers!

 The day was nice! We had crepes for breakfast....

 We went swimming at the Jones' (but I didn't take any pictures) then when dad got home she opened her presents. This is a desk for her room.

 For her rock collection...

 That night she invited a bunch of friends over for a game night. It ended up being tons of fun. They talked and laughed late into the night and she said it was the "best birthday ever."
