July

Here are some fun things we did in July! Again, the pictures are out of order. I don't know why it switched to doing it this way but I don't know how to switch it back. Super annoying! Anyway....

I can't remember which trip we were on for this picture but I LOVE it so I had to share. Ha ha!
We were able to go on a backpacking trip for a few days of a much needed reset in the wilderness.
The mosquitos were HORRIBLE. Like, the worst I've ever seen. Luckily we had some nets to save our lives. They're also very fashionable.

We found snow! So of course a snowball fight was in session.

There was also a lot of fishing that happened

These kiddos worked hard making a cool hut.

Jonah got an "owie" so thankfully Kate brought some perfect bandaids to make anyone feel better.

Josh eating the "pooding" Some couldn't stomach that stuff but Josh loved it!

These two would go play "Sleeping Beauty" (the part where the price cut through all the thorny vines.

Jonah kept picking me flowers.

It was such a great little trip. Meanwhile, back at home another windstorm blew our corn over.
But Jonah's sunflower remains tall!
A quick little swim at the Hardy's
We got to go on a temple trip with the cute young women.

Rach went to FSY with Molly and loved it!
Jonah spent the summer writing and illustrating books.
His tooth grew in!
We got these from Tryazon to build. When I signed up I thought they were more like Legos. It was still a good summer activity to do.

Trav chopped a tree down in the backyard that was totally overhanging into Tenney's yard. It looks so different with it gone!

We took the paddle boards up to Pineview for a beautiful night on the lake

I screen shotted this pic Rach took for BeReal. I hardly have any pictures of me just being with the kids and I kind of love having some record of us  just hanging out and reading.

I'm glad I still have a few takers for the slip and slide.

And summer days just chillin all together is my favorite.
We took the girls ice blocking and it was fun!

Rach and I also went to Provo to check out campus and house for her to live in. I can't believe she's already old enough to go!
Gotta love the campfires in the backyard.

Summer slurpees

And Jonah lost a front tooth! I LOVE the toothless look.

Only days before Jonah lost his tooth, Kate's tooth got chipped! That look maybe isn't so cute but they were able to fix her up good as new.

She's always up for a game.

I stole these pictures from the Kaysville website from the race.

The park across the street got new equipment! One day we looked and it was all torn up and like the next day it was  done. We didn't even know it was going to happen. So we had to go test it out. It's pretty fun!

Crazy summer rainstorm.
And he's officially official!

If he's not writing books, he's constructing weapons.

For some strange reason, Jonah was "smoking." We got new sand in the sandbox and just Jonah (not Will) had a constant cloud of dust emanating from him for a while. It was so funny!
Josh also went to FSY and this was breakfast after we picked him up. He had a great time too!

Flying planes at the park was so pretty.

This is what summer should look like.
