Girls camp and back to school

Rach and I got to go to an AMAZING girls camp this summer at Heber Valley camp. It was a stake camp so the girls were kind of dreading it but it ended up being SO much fun! Not only so fun, but so spiritual too. I felt uplifted and so loved all week long and was on a definite high. I didn't get too many pictures but these are the few that I took.

Jami and I were the leaders that were lucky enough to ride with the girls on the bus and endure an hour and a half of them singing at the top of their lungs. It was fun!

These are the cute girls that were in my cabin. I got all the beehives, plus Kelley and Whitney. The leaders in my cabin were Me, Christa, Mandi, Shelley and Kelli. It was the BEST!
Jami and I went on an early morning hike and saw the beautiful sun rise. It was gorgeous up there!
Shelley came prepared with so many fun games and prizes. Rach and I were some big winners. I think it was the funniest night of my life when Shelley was handing out prizes at 1am. I haven't laughed that hard in a LONG time!
A fun bonus to girls camp was becoming friends with Kelsey! She is the most amazing girl and I love that we are now soul sisters and buddies.
But my favorite part about camp was being up there with Rach. I loved spending time with her and watching her be with her friends and feel the spirit. I loved listening to her testimony and feel blessed that I was able to be a part of this week with her.
The food was amazing. Christa came up to be our official food person and it was fun for me to have my bff there too!
We even got to play a day at the lake and had a mega water fight! SO much fun!!
It was one of the best weeks ever. The girls all got along so well and we grew close together as a ward. And as an added bonus....we had the best lip sync ever to I Have a Dream from Tangled. It was epic with the bishop as "The Punz"

Fast forward a couple weeks and it's already time to be back to school! Rach is now an 8th grader and doing SO well!

Although she doesn't love my photo sessions all the time.

Josh is a 6th grader and rules the school in Mrs. Williams class.

Will started Kindergarten this year! How is this possible? I miss my buddy in the mornings!

(Trying to make a 'K' with his fingers)
Kate is in Mrs. Masterson's 3rd grade class and being amazing in everything she does (as usual)

Jonah is now the man of the house when everyone else is gone.

I did take a few pictures when I dropped them off at school.
I'm thrilled Kate and Erika are together again this year. They'll be okay as long as they've got each other!

Will with his girlfriend Kate. We figured we needed this picture just in case we need to make a wedding video in the future.
Kate is a twin and he is buddies with Jett too but he does love Kate. :)
The first year the trio is broken up. Morgan isn't in the girls class this year and it's kind of sad! I hope they stay good buddies.
When it was time to go pick the kids up from school we had this crazy massive hail storm! It was insane!!

A couple days before school, Kate got whacked in the face with a swing and got a total shiner! It was sad she had a black eye to go back to school with.

Will officially started about a week later so I had to get some "real" first day of school pictures of him.
And Jonah, thinking he's a big boy.

It's always good to get them back into a routine but the house is so quiet with them gone! I love these kids of mine.

The rest of summer...

Rach and I went back in time...
 And we traveled the world...

 We played in the backyard.
Jonah learned how to lay all the way down in the tub (and thinks he's pretty cool for doing it)
These 2 peas in a pod played non-stop
Josh got to help with an arrow of light ceremony in scouts.

Rach took (and loved) a sewing class.

 Sleeping out on the tramp
I threw my first tryazon party for e-cloth. (I especially love Josh's ove glove duster)
 Enough said...
There was lots of laundry to do, so why not just make it a nest?
I love that someone snuck this picture of the girls in primary.
Some played with no pants on
 We went shopping
Rach got to go to the temple
I got together with some high school buddies. It was long overdue!

Trav got together with his buddies too.
 We visited grandpa
 Josh grew a beard
We did some more shopping with the Maughan's
My girls actually match! I had to get a picture.
We had a zoo in our front room
Jonah's favorite part about the bike ride.
These next few sum up every day of summer...

 Jonah got a new swimsuit!

We went to the zoo

He lined all the animals up in pairs. Smarty pants!
We ate really big onion rings when the girls and dad were at daddy/daughter
 Pyramids of friends

Yep....it was a good summer.
