Graduations

It's official. The school year is over! It's such a bittersweet time because I feel like all of my kids had such a good year. Will had the CUTEST pre-school graduation. I really loved his teacher. Aaaaand....I'm pretty sure he was one of the troublemakers in his class.

It was fun to have grandma come see the program too.
And it never hurts to have a doughnut.

I told Will we should get Miss Jessie a gift for thanking her for all she's done. He knew exactly what he wanted to get her: a giant bag of gummy worms. I hope she liked it!

Rach also had her last day of 7th grade. Even though she did really great I think she's glad to see this year go. She only got 1 A- the entire year! 4.0's all the rest. Amazing!!!

I don't think Kate knows what that means but she kept doing it. Ha ha!
Josh is done with Mrs. Everton's class. I love Mrs. Everton.

What grade are you going into next year? Ahhhh!

Kate LOVED Mrs. Turnbow (and I love her too). She had the best year at school.
Soon she'll be in what grade?
I amazed at how well my kids do in school. They really are truly amazing. Bring on summer!!

The Big 11.

How can this possibly be true? Josh is 11! I swear I just had him a few minutes ago so this can't be right. But here we are...11 years later.

His birthday was on a Saturday so we were all home to celebrate.

He had some good helpers to open his presents.

Don't get too close there, guys....

 The famous Pringle shirt.

Rach stayed up really late the night before (like midnight!) to finish Josh's cake. Since I was doing a month without treats she volunteered to do the cake so I wouldn't be tempted :) It turned out great!! And Josh LOVED it!
After having soccer games all morning we had his party in the afternoon. This year we did a marshmallow war!  They assembled their guns.
Jonah got stuck on the tramp.

 Then they painted their guns.
 Ummmm.....wow....
While the guns were drying we went inside to do presents
I just love these boys. They are seriously so cute!

Then it was time for cake!

Hearing their chatter at the table was hilarious to me. They talk about the most random stuff!
After cake it was outside for the war! They weren't sure how they were going to carry their marshmallows around so this is what they came up with.

 All of them. Ha ha!

 K, maybe not him.

Rach finally had a brilliant idea to just duct tape them to her so she wouldn't have to do the "pants thing."

 Then everyone did that too.

They had SO much fun running though the backyard and just having a million wars.

We kept changing the teams up and Trav and I even played. It was SO much fun!

We had about a billion marshmallows all over the yard when we were done but that really was one of the most fun parties we've had.

Happy birthday to the most wonderful, handsome, helpful, kind, good-hearted, amazing 11 year olds on earth! Love ya Josh!
