Thursday we headed off to Animal Kingdom. It was nice to have a little slower paced day. We were all exhausted, but still wanted to go strong!
First stop was the African Jeep Safari. It was really cool and we got to see a lot of animals up close.
There were a couple walking tours.
This gorilla was so funny with a big branch on his head. Gorilla bling.
Jonah found a special leaf and played with it for like 45 minutes as we were walking around.
Then we headed over to Pandora....Avatar land. It was really cool looking.
The ride was pretty fun! Will thought these rock structures look like a rock giant pushing a rock. I think he's right!
We went to the petting zoo.
This tree was the coolest. It had animals carved all around it. You don't even notice unless you look hard.
I see a tiger in the bushes!
This monkey just hung around like that for the longest time! I think my arms would give out after 20 seconds.
Jonah found his happy place looking for tiny rocks in the dirt.

The longest ride we waited in our entire trip was the dinosaur ride. It was awful! And broke down when we were almost to the front. We finally made it on and the ride was way too scary for Jonah (even though he was tall enough) and definitely wasn't a favorite. Such a waste of time!
This right here was the best ride of the park....Expedition Everest! Loved it!
One more time on the Avatar ride while dad, Jonah and Rachel did another safari.
We were so done by the end of the day. I was thrilled it had an early closing time because I totally tweaked my back and could barely walk by the end of the day. Trav was still feeling a little nauseous from yesterday. We're turning into old farts! It was fun but easily our least favorite park that we went to.
After soaking in the hot tub for like and hour that night and ibuprofin, and Trav on Dramamine, we were ready for our last day in the parks....back to Universal! (after a "nutritious" breakfast of course)
We started the day with Gringotts again!
We stayed in Universal for most of the day today and hit pretty much every ride here. It was fun!

We wanted to head back over to the other park so we waited in another long line for the Hogwarts Express.
We were almost to the front of the line when the train pulled away. Jonah was SO sad! He thought we weren't going to be able to ride the train!
We made it and had to eat at the 3 broomsticks again.

Then we hopped on the Hogwarts Express one last time to see if we could catch Gringotts before it closed.
We ran there and we were the very last people (literally) they let on the ride! We barely made it! I'm glad we got to end on a fun one that we all could ride on!
We were so wiped out that day that we couldn't even take the kids swimming that night. We all crashed hard in bed! The next morning we woke up to gray skies and misty rain that we hadn't see the whole trip! So we drove over to see the upside down building before heading to the airport.
We had plenty of time at the airport so we waited.
Back on the plane! We gave Josh a window seat and a barf bag and he seemed to do much better this time. It's funny because none of the rides all week affected him, but the flight there did.
We had another connector flight and we all were glued to our screens pretty much the whole time. Love the airplane snacks and were devastated (at least I was) to come home to snow!
It was good to be home in our own beds. Our house felt like a mansion after living in a hotel for a week but man....that was a fun trip! I miss it already! Love you Florida! I hope we'll be back soon!
