Easter Q-Life

Some things I have really loved about being "stuck at home" and Easter is one of them. It was such an awesome Sunday! We dyed our eggs the day before. They turned out totally fab.

Then on Sunday we woke up and the Easter bunny had come! We hit the egg hunt hard!

At one point we couldn't find Jonah. I went to the front yard to find him, diaper off, peeing off the porch!
After we got "the situation" taken care of it was back to more eggs.

Then inside to sort the loot...

 (and eat the loot)

Then we  had an AWESOME church meeting at home.
My friend Lindsay went around the ward and recorded all the primary kids singing the song "Risen" which they had been working on. Then she put all their voices together in a video and sent it out. It was so beautiful. It was so fun to see all those sweet faces singing the song that they loved so much.

I forced an Easter picture on my family...

Then after a yummy dinner we went to visit grandparents. We still were being socially distant so we just drew pictures on their driveways and chatted on the front lawn. It was nice to see them after not being able to for a while. We miss our grandparents!

 (Jonah's turtle is adorable)

Happy Easter!!

Front porch pictures

My cute friend Natalie, who is a photographer, offered free front porch pictures during the quarantine. I thought about dressing up and looking cute but then I decided we should just all come as we are....Mismatched clothes, messy hair, slippers....this is what we looked like during the quarantine. I LOVED how all our pictures turned out!

I do feel like this quarantine helped us grow closer together as a family so it's fun to have these reminders of what it was like. Thanks Nat!
