April

I don't know why blogger changed and now inserts all the pictures in opposite order. O-well. Makes my posts awkward but I'm also too lazy to go manually change them all.  So here is April in a nutshell! For a youth activity one night we got to go package lunches for kids in need. It was actually a lot of fun (and they gave us matching t-shirts)
Josh and Rach both got to go to Prom!! Josh's 1st dance, Rachel's last. This is Josh's first date too. He looks so handsome!

A lot of wardies were in his group. Such a great group of kids.

Jonah loves to flip pancakes for me.
When the big kids were at Prom we went and got some dinner. Kate...ha ha!

Rach looked SO pretty!

Awwww! 😍

So fun! I'm glad they got to go!

Meanwhile, back on the soccer field...

And the front room....
Trav got a new car! He's been talking about it forever and it was time! It's super fancy and so far so good! (and Rach is loving commandeering the old car)
Mr. Will had a birthday and turned 10! Double digits!! How the heck did that happen?!?

It felt like we celebrated his birthday for days.

Jonah was struck with the jealousy bug and was so sad Will was getting all the attention and presents.

Will had his school program on his birthday too! (He also had a piano recital that night but told his piano teacher he wasn't going to spend his birthday doing that. Ha ha! So we ditched the recital)

We took some of his friends to go see the new Super Mario Bros movie in the theater. It was so cute!

We also had a LOT of track! Here's after the race.

This one's before the race.
Josh got to help out at the jr high meets that were at the high school. It was fun seeing him there with his buddies doing hurdle crew.
We love playing at grandma's park

I also had a birthday! The big 4.1!  They know me so well to get me fuzzy slippers and the cutest pillow case on the planet!

We went to the Spaghetti Factory for dinner. It's been forever since I've been there!
Trav also got me a zoo pass so we went to the zoo! That was so fun!

He blends in with the bean bags.
More soccer (and treats)

More track. Kate had an amazing season! She killed in in her first meet and won the "super sevie" award for the most impressive 7th grader in that meet. She creamed in the 800 and then ran the mile and did awesome! It'll be fun to see what she can do!

The had an "Adam Sandler" day to dress up for track. She nailed it.
Love starting to get outside a little more!

Buddies...

The day we got home from our cruise was Easter Sunday! We had to pack all our Easter festivities in one day. That includes dying (and eating) our Easter eggs.

We let our luggage air out on the deck just in case any of those beg bugs decided to join us on our trip home. Pippin was NOT letting us leave again. He parked it in Kate's suitcase and was not letting us go.

We also had our Easter egg hunt! The bunny had come while we were gone and left eggs all over the house. That was a fun surprise to come home to!

We were all dead tired but we still had a great Easter Sunday!
