Schools out!

The last week of school is always so fun. I got to go help with field day.

I also got to go on a field trip with Kate to the park. I snapped this cute picture of her friend group.

Last day of school!

Jonah's last day of alone time....
Everyone was pretty excited to be done with school for the year, even though it was a great year. But Kate came out of school sobbing. She LOVED Mrs. Everton, and she's retiring so Kate was devastated she won't ever get to see her again. I've never seen her so sad on the last day of school before. It was so sad!

But luckily, we had our neighborhood water party at the clemens house to cheer us up! Rach and Josh were hanging out with their friends so my little flock is getting smaller. It was fun and we had a great time.

Wrapping it up

This school year really flew by! We were able to do some fun end of year things. I got to go on 2 fieldtrips with Will's class. One walking around Kaysville, and another to the Ponds. Here's his cute class that I wish I would've been able to get to know better.
The favorite part of the fieldtrip was when Mrs. Gold let them all slide down the railings at the tabernacle.
Yeah...that's my kid that went face first....
Kate won a Cat in the Hat hat at school and wore it all over the place for about a week.

Jonah didn't want to feel left out so he got his Uncle Sam hat to fit in.

We finally got to go to the temple!! It's near impossible to get reservations to go to the temple these days but miraculously, Christa was able to get one and invited us to go! She wanted to use up all the 16 allotted spots so it was the Maughans, Maynes and a couple extra friends. Josh even missed his last soccer game of the season to be there. It was good to be back!
It was pouring rain while we were taking these pictures but we figured we were already wet.

Here all the cute teenagers that came.

And a parent shot...
Kate and I went on a date to Lagoon. It was nice being able to go on some big rides!
Josh won a mini soccer goal from his coach. Ha ha! I've never seen one that small!
The deck is getting closer!! I love the stairs....and the railing....and the flooring....

We drove over to the Layton temple sight to see how it was coming along for one of our family nights. It's starting to look like a temple!

Jonah and Bea have been flooding our sandbox every day. Jonah gets his suit on....Bea always goes in fully clothed.
After one of Will's baseball games someone was handing out cotton candy to all the boys (and really anyone that wanted it). I loved watching Jonah try to ride and eat at the same time.

I loved watching Will's games! Even if he's dancing in the outfield...
He got pretty good and would get at least one really good hit every game!
His last game was the best because he got to play against some good buddies.

We were able to go do all the dry stuff at Cherry Hill for a discounted price, thanks to our connections there. Mini golf was so fun!

And, of course there were no pictures of me, but I do need to note that I got 2!   Not 1, but 2, hole in ones!!! It was incredible! I was so excited and yelling and jumping around....nobody else even seemed to care. It truly was amazing golf to be seen that day.

The kids tried out the rock climbing.

I guess I didn't get a picture of Jonah (just a video) but he was so hilarious. He didn't really weigh enough so it kind of went up on its own. He was just climbing with his arms only and his legs just hung there. It looked like he was this insanely strong guy climbing up. It was awesome!
Here's Cherry Hill's cutest employee. She's liking it so far and loved getting that first paycheck!
Hanging out at Grandmas....
The kids made a new discovery with slime. Stick a straw in it and blow slime bubbles. It's pretty great.

We celebrated Memorial Day up at Grandpa's grave.

We pulled out the slip n slide to cool off this hot summer.

Hammock-ing with my boy in the backyard....

Walking in the hollow...
Will got together with the previously shown cute baseball boys for a movie night (Sandlot) and my cute friend Lindsay took this picture. I LOVE it! Such cute boys.
