Easter 2022

Easter was good to us this year. We have early church so the bunny was nice enough to come while we were at church so we could have our hunt when we got home. Everyone is always so anxious to get out the door!
Pippin even helped us this year!

It was a good hunt but tricky! They had a hard time finding some eggs!

Doesn't take this kid long...
We also dyed our eggs that day because we didn't have any time before!

They turned out great!

These pictures got out of order. Oops.

 Happy Easter!

April-ness

I love April because sometimes it looks like this:

Sometimes you get this:

And some days it's crazy hot. You never know what you're going to get!
My parents cut down their huge tree in their front yard. The house looks so strange without it. I was sad to see it go!
Another thing about April/May is all of the end of year stuff starts happening. Kate had her piano recital. (The first one they've had in person in a couple years). She did AMAZING! She was definitely the best one up there.
Will had his end of year program and I LOVED it. I even got a front row seat which makes it even better! It was so sweet and I may or may not have teared up a few times, especially when I started thinking about sweet Will and how much he's grown this year and some of the hard lessons he had to learn.

Jonah's class got to come watch it too.
Gosh, I love that kid!

Lego days are my fav.
And sometimes little notes like this will come home on Jonah's school work and I melt just a little bit.
We got Jonah's class picture back and I think this will be my favorite forever. His bells palsy was going strong when they took this picture. Ha ha!
He slept in this tent a few nights.
And was obsessed with playing with water for a while there.
He also had his school program and Grandma and Grandpa got to come. I didn't have as good of a view for this one....just one tiny window I could see through all the parents giant heads. Kindergartners are the absolute cutest and he did a great job.

He and his buddy Milo.
I wish these pictures were better quality but when they first walked in for the program Jonah was scanning all over to find me. It was crazy crowded and he couldn't see me.

But the second he did...you could tell. He instantly relaxed and couldn't stop smiling. Showing up is all it takes to make someones day.
This trip to the library was especially picturesque.

And we didn't do too much but when April Fools day comes the kids know something is going to happen. Just a little porta potty in the bathroom and some furniture rearranged...
