Fall Fell

Fall has already come and gone so here's a brief overview of what happened in K-Town. Boys with blankies....
Playing in the leaves at the park
Josh was full swing Race Cats. He's a great runner and I love that he loves it!
The first 2 races he got 2nd place!! Woot woot!
 Here's trouble...
The boys love playing in the backyard.
Jonah learned to climb a tree higher than my head.
We have plenty of leaves to play in

 "The look"

He is adorable when he's not giving me his weird look!

 Yep.
The final race for Racecats!! Pre-race jitters....

He raced against A LOT more kids than usual. These are only the 11 year olds!

Lookin' good!
He ended up in 7th place (which I was SO proud!!) but you can see he's a little disappointed because they only ribbon the top 6.
But then there was a mix up and the kid that actually won was supposed to be in a different race category so they bumped everyone else up and Josh got 6th!!  Good job buddy!

Trav cut down our dead Apsen in the front yard.
Trav and Josh went mountain biking.
Labor day is a favorite for a 2 year old I know.
Kate got to go to a cool climbing place for her friend, Morgan's, birthday.
 Josh graduated from DARE

Rach and I got to go see the Nutcracker
 Will was being Will
We went to the zoo with the Cutlers on a sunny, cold day.
The day after Thanksgiving Trav took the kids fishing in honor of Grandpa Maughan. The fish were biting like crazy!

I think everyone caught multiple fish but Trav... Ha ha!

This is one of Jonahs' favorite things to do. He loves Toy Story.
And has Woody while he watches.
Will and Jonah went shirtless one day.
They had to flex their muscles.

And in case you need some content for a nightmare tonight....here's Will picture he colored in primary. Happy fall!

Halloween

We had a great Halloween this year! No scary guys that Em had to chase off....so that was good. :) These are a little out of order, but that's okay!

On Halloween night I had the kids "practice" trick or treating at our house so Jonah could get the hang of it.
Then we had to take a million pictures before we could actually head out.

I loved how all the costumes turned out this year! We had an Easter Bunny....

 A leprechaun....

Uncle Sam (but he wouldn't keep his amazing hat or bowtie on)

 An m&m (for Halloween)

 Cupid....

I think I have more pictures from Halloween night but they'll come later.

The weekend before Halloween we ran in the Mayan Miracle 5k! I love this tradition and we always have a good time.

And the breakfast burritos aren't too shabby either!

I tried to get a matchy matchy picture of these two cuties.
 Jonah was NOT having it!

I'm glad the Maynes run with us! Here's all the kids that ran.
Can we just have a moment of silence for my face in the next couple pictures? Ha ha! I'm so photogenic!!

And here's all the runners!

This year Erika got 1st place and Kate got 2nd!
Josh and Noah both got 1st in their age groups!
 Rach got 2nd in hers!
We couldn't do it without grandma and grandpa there to watch the little boys (and wait in the burrito line for us). Thanks mom and dad!
We always love the skull trophies.

This year neither Trav or I placed but I do need to record that I beat Trav by 2 seconds!!! Bragging rights for a whole year!!!
Here's some pictures from our Schick Halloween party.

Jonah was NOT having a good night.

I've never seen Uncle Sam so sad!

Trav and I rounded out the holidays with Santa and a reindeer.

I took the kids to Gardner Village to see the witches. We hadn't been there in years so it was fun to go see them!

Of course this was the kids favorite....

I took the two little boys to play at Pack farm and we had the place to ourselves! It was awesome.

And now we're back to Halloween night! Everyone is ready to go!
I think he's a cute Uncle Sam but someone asked me if he was supposed to be Donald Trump!

Yes, I wore this trick or treating.

Kate was AWESOME in helping with Jonah and they were usually a house or two behind everyone else. Such an awesome big sister!
 Rach and Molly
 Kate and Erika

The kids made out like bandits and got a ton of candy! Jonah lasted a lot longer than I thought he would and we all had a great time. Happy Halloween!
