It's done. This chapter in my life is closed. I know it sounds like I'm being dramatic but it's still hard for me to wrap my brain around the fact that we are never going back. We had the best last trip to the cabin we could've asked for and tried to soak it all in as much as we could. I took pictures of every moment I could. On the way up there we got stuck in the middle of a cattle drive. It was actually really cool. My kids loved seeing all the cows and cowboys up close.
Always with the biggest walking stick he could find.
My parents were leaving a ton of stuff for the new family but we also got to bring a lot of it home. This gigantic dictionary from like 1940 came home with us.
The kids put faces on the peanuts that we few to Daisy.
One last time on the swing.
The teeter totter
The slide
Moose Willows hike
Moose poop loop
My grandma's player piano
My grandpa's little table that has been spun on millions of times.
My cute kiddos made a squirrel photo booth for Daisy.
Trav tricked my mom saying we saw a moose in the yard.
Daisy found her way around the photo booth pretty easily.
Finally got one!
Say peanut!
Last time seeing our tree.
Rach cleaned the windows one last time for the new owners.
We were able to meet the new owners while we were there. It calmed my heart to know that they loved it, quirkiness and all. They will take care of the cabin and love it just as much as we did.
Here's one last picture of our family at the cabin.
And one last one of my parents too.
Thanks for all the good times.
