Kate's baptism!!

They day after we got out of the hospital our Sweet Kate was getting baptized! We have all been anticipating this day for a long time so we were all glad it was here and a distraction from everything that had been going on with Jonah.

I wasn't in the best frame of mind and honestly didn't care if our house was clean or dirty for when everyone was coming over after the baptism. Luckily, Trav's brain was working and put everyone to work. This made my heart so happy!

The baptism happened at 1:30pm. We headed over to the stake center and snapped a few pictures before we got started. She asked daddy to give a talk on baptism, and Grandpa Schick to say the opening prayer. There was another boy from a different ward that got baptized the same time so we shared our time with him.

The baptism was wonderful. The confirmation...you could feel the Holy Ghost SO strong. This girl is a STRONG spirit and will do wonderful things in this life. There were so many people there supporting her in this decision. Erika even came alone to see her BFF because her whole family was at Saturday basketball games. What a good buddy!

I warned her I was going to take a million pictures on this special day....so I did!

The primary even gave her this special towel to use. It was such a wonderful service, and we headed back to our house to eat doughnuts and fruit. Yummy! I hope Kate felt special today because she is SO special to so many people.
The next day was Sunday and I wanted to have another photo shoot. Luckily...this girl LOVES getting her picture taken so she was a very good model.

Then she started dancing with the Book of Mormon.

This is a girl that reads her scriptures faithfully every day. She prays every day. We're trying to memorize "The Living Christ" document as a family and she probably knows it the best out of everyone so far. She is completely faithful and obedient in everything she does. She doesn't cut corners. She doesn't do what is easy. She does what is right. She truly is the best of the best.

How I LOVE this sweet Kate of mine!
