Memorial weekend at the cabin

The end of school is insane, so we decided that once we finally had Saturday's back from soccer, that we needed to get out and into the mountains to recharge.  The cabin was the perfect place to be. Jonah liked it.....

 My long-haired, blue-eyed boy...

I'm glad he still likes his mama.

 He likes his daddy too.
 And his brother....
And everyone adores him right back!
We had a good time doing a tricky puzzle. I think Heather wins the prize for doing the most of it.
And it was absolutely GORGEOUS so we went on a walk around the block.

Will is obsessed with his cousin, Adam.  He follows him around like a little shadow. I'm glad that he has such amazing cousins to look up to. If he grows up to be just like Adam, I'd be thrilled!

Will did find a walking stick.
I feel like this picture should be on a CD cover or something...
The boys checking out a massive spider.
Rach thinks she's one of the big kids already.
The really big kids hung out on the deck.
This was Nate's last trip before his mission! He was so good to take all the kids on Rhino rides. We will miss him!
Notice anything wrong with Will's helmet? And Kate's teeth?
Gross. You're welcome, Dr. Morgan (the dentist)
And, here's the whole gang that was there for the weekend. We missed the Hardy's, but that cabin is getting tight with everyone in it! (and Trav was the photographer)
Our silly picture only has 1 kid being silly.

 Whose kid is that?
 The boys...
 The girls...

 The Maughan's. ..
Too bad I'm holding Jonah kind of weird because it's actually a cute picture!
 The Roberts....
 The Sheltons....
Grandma said "I want to get a picture with all the grandkids!"
This is what she got....

Kate was the only one that wanted to be in the picture with them! Ha ha! It was hilarious.
Then we suggested they get at least one of just the two of them and this is what happened.
 That crazy kid is back!

This is the one I love....
We went on a nice long hike and had to cross a rushing river. We got to sled down some snow on our feet (or bums...depending on who you talk to). We even got to see the smallest moose I've ever seen, with his mama. It was SO cute (and I didn't get a good picture of it). The kids had a fun time exploring and it was just good to be there!

And....just like all trips this one didn't last long enough.
