Daddy's day

The very first day of summer, we got the chance to go boating with Tom! It's been so long since we've seen him it was great to hang out with him all morning. Jonah's first boat trip!

As much as the kids love hanging out on the boat and eating treats from the "naughty bin" none of them would try wakeboarding like we hoped. But they did try the water rocket and most of them loved it! First they went with Mom....
 Then Dad.....
Will opted to eat get off and eat treats instead. It was a beautiful day!
For Father's Day we were actually coming home from the Schick reunion that morning. We rushed home and made it just in time to church. We HAD to be there for the kids singing in sacrament. It was Rachel's last Sunday in Primary, and last time singing Primary songs in church! So crazy!

Once we got home we got a few pictures of the big guy on his big day. Here's the boys...
Then the girls joined in too....
 Show daddy some love!
I'm not sure what Rach is doing in this picture.
Someone's always got his eyes on Mommy.

Kate actually had to give a talk in Primary that day too. I helped her write her talk. She would tell me what she wanted to say and I'd write it down. She said, "Father's are kind. Dads are fun to play with. Dads help mom make babies...." Ummmm....wait....hold up there. What? "You know, you have to have a daddy and a mommy to help with the babies."  Ooooooh! Okay. Are you sure you want to say that in primary? (A little editing was required.)
They all got daddy some gifts and the best gift...big hugs!
Even if it's an awkward pre-teen hug.

Trav is a great dad. My kids are So lucky to have him and it was fun to celebrate him that day.
