Q-Life 5

As quarantine life continues, we keep plugging along. Here's a few pictures from April. Will doing a science project about birds...
Josh had to make a water screw windmill...
My friend Jami organized a neighborhood marathon for all the kids in the neighborhood. They each ran 1/2 or 1 mile (I think there were a few that did more) and my kids were the very first ones to go. It took our neighborhood kids a little over 4 hoursto run a marathon .
Will was the first one back (after his 1/2 mile run)
 He did awesome!

Josh wasn't too far behind  after his mile run. He ended up getting the 2nd fastest time out of all the runners.

Kate was the fastest girl for the whole thing. My kids were done in like 6 1/2 minutes
Jami had treats and drinks for everyone at her house after they ran. They had fun and it was a nice change of scenery (or at least something to look forward too) Great job guys!!
We had a million trips to the dentist and orthodontist as soon as they opened back up. We had to wear masks and wait in the car. This was our first experience with masks (for the kids)

They wanted me to wait in the car but I thought there was no way Jonah would go in there without me. He marched right in without a second glance! We could watch him the whole time through the window because his room faced us. It was so funny seeing him in there chatting with the hygienist. He looked so old and so little at the same time!

We also got to the point we couldn't stand not seeing family anymore. So we all packed up some lunches and headed to a park in Centerville where we all met for lunch and a much needed chat.

Yeah, we didn't social distance too well...
But we did play a fun game that provides great picture opportunities...

It was SO good to see everyone! Staying home is getting old.
