Soccer life

I love soccer season. I don't care that it eats up all of our Saturdays (and a number of weeknights too). I love watching my kids do something they love...and something I love to! This was the first time we've had 4 kids in soccer though. That was A LOT of games!

This was Will's first year and it was so much fun to watch him and his mad skills.
It always helps to have a patriotic cheering section.

This picture sums up the season for Will....a few steps behind the pack but looking good while doing it!

There were a few times he got in there and got the ball!

 Pure determination...

He just had a blast out there even though he didn't get the ball too often. Luckily his team was really good and only lost 1 game so he thinks he's all that and a bag of chips.
Rach had a MUCH better season and team this year. She knew a few girls on her team and did really well and got back into it a lot more than she had all of last year.

We still need to work on the aggression a little though.

I like the cheering section in the background
Josh has turned into a machine. He's full of fast breaks, fancy footwork and scores at least one, sometimes two times per game.

The exact second he made a goal!

Kate has actually lost her zip from last year. This year, although all the girls on her team are really nice...none of them even go to our school so she's not really friends with them. All of her friends are on the same team so we're all really bummed about that. I hope she can find her spark again because she's on fire when she wants to be!

 But she's still super tough!

While soccer is going on it's all we can do to keep Jonah entertained during 4 games every Saturday.
Sometimes he'd disappear and if he was missing for more than a minute we knew exactly where to look. He'd be over by the flag (usually running circles around it) in the corner of the field.
Everyone else would entertain themselves too.

It was nice knowing you Saturdays! See ya in a few weeks!
