The cabin

We knew with spring break we needed to get into the mountains and head to the cabin. We saw birds and squirrels.
  Read lots of books....
 Played with toys...
 So cozy!
We  even went on a few long, muddy, cold hikes.
Trav was a genius and brought the jogging stroller so Jonah could make it all the way around the block without us having to carry him!

We did let him loose to get some wiggles out when it was flat.
The kids found the coolest ice. It was thin as paper.

 Someone liked the mud puddles.

Even in the winter there's monkeys in the trees.

It was funny (but not funny) that Kate had an accident while wearing her raccoon jammies, We rinsed them out and hung them by the fire to dry. I thought it looked like a coon skin drying.
There's even a gang up there!
We watched movies, played games (I totally crushed everyone in Risk, I might add) and just enjoyed some quiet time together as a family. But maybe not too quiet with this cheeseball.....

Trav had to leave early to go to work so the kids and I stopped at the train for lunch. We HAD to.
