Shakespearian Festival

For my birthday this year, Trav gave me tickets to the Shakespearean Festival in Cedar City. I finally got to cash them in! We realized as we were driving there and still about an hour away that we were going to be late to our first show. So we sped SO fast and ended up only being like 10 minutes late. It was a miracle. The first show we saw was Treasure Island. It was really good!

Then we walked around a bit to see what was there.

We stayed in The CUTEST bed and breakfast that was like 1 block away from everything, so it was perfect.(and the served the yummiest breakfast) This is the front door.

We stayed in the Sherwood Forest room.

Later that night we had  dinner and then went to our second show A Midsummers Night Dream. It was HILARIOUS! Probably the funniest show I've ever seen. We were crying we were laughing so hard.

The next morning we went to Kannara Falls. It was the coolest hike! It's probably one of my new favorite hikes. The pictures just don't do it justice to how amazing it was.

We had to hike up a river in a slot canyon.

Then, you had to climb up rickety old ladders to get up 2 different waterfalls! It was so cool!

There was one other waterfall that was more like a water slide that I slid down. That was fun too! (but we didn't get a picture of it)

The only downside was there were quite a few people there so we had to wait in line to go up the waterfalls.

After the hike we headed home! It was a short trip but just what we needed. To say Trav and I needed a getaway is an understatement. We had a great time and I wouldn't mind going back again.

To be or not to be!
