Silver Lake

At least once a year we like to grab a picnic dinner and go to Silver Lake. Although this is a great tradition we're usually a week or two late for getting the good fall leaves. But by some miracle we were dead on this year! It was SO amazingly beautiful up there. It's a perfect little jaunt around the lake when you have a newborn and want some nice scenery. Needlesstosay...we took a lot of pictures!

Why are my eyes closed in all the pictures?

This is officially called the "hide and seek forest" by our kids.
I mean....come on! This is gorgeous!

 Josh found a "pine shield"

Will climbed all the way up this huge rock wall without any help. I was so impressed (and a little nervous for him the whole time). I wish we would've got a picture of how big the wall actually was! That's his little plaid bum up there.

He also found a lure and some fishing line so he made himself a fishing pole. He "almost" caught a fish too.

A little blurry but the one picture we got of him fishing. Love it!

Fall is the BEST!
