Conference at the Cabin

Since Jonah had never been to the cabin and it was conference time we decided to do conference at the cabin this year. It was gorgeous up there in the mountains and the words of church leaders was exactly what we needed to hear (of what we actually got to hear, at least)

Here's his first time chillin' on the deck.
The leaves were so beautiful...we just couldn't stop taking pictures.

My sister, Aimee was up there with her kids too. She is a crocheting master and decided Jonah needed an Aimee masterpiece. We jokingly said he needed a whale hat and sure enough...a few hours later he was sporting a super cute whale hat! Love it.

We went on lots of walks looking for animals.

 I think I found some!

 Someone got sick of walking...
My dad, Trav and Josh spent a lot of time being manly and chopping wood. They are set for winter.
This is what listening to conference looked like after my sister left. Jonah front and center and conference bingo going on. The kids did great (minus a 3 year old I know)
 Little cutie...
We also had decided that we needed to get our family pictures done. So we had brought some matching shirts and the photo session began.

 Da boys...

 Girls...

 The grays...
 The crazy backward helmet guy...
 The fam...

 The Josh...

 The Rach...

 The Kate...

 The sad one...
Until he sat in the "Rhino"
 The mom and dad...

 The mom and baby...

 The Jonah...
 The trees...
We got some good ones but I really wish we would have done it the first day because my hair is super greasy and looks weird. But other than that I'm happy!

"Hey Will....do you want to see a moose?"

This deer was right underneath the deck.
We decided to go on a walk on Turkey Trail.

When we got back 2 baby moose were at the salt lick at the cabin!

Pretty soon big brother and mama came to join.

It was SO amazing! They were totally talking to each other and stayed there for the longest time. We missed some of conference to watch them. It was awesome!!

Oh how we love the cabin!
