January

My pictures never load in a normal order so here's what we've got for January:
Sledding! We finally got lots of snow!

We wanted to remember Rachel's look (for blackmail/wedding video purposes)

Here's our New Years Eve party with the Harrisons

Jonah created a "blood tornado"
Snowball fight!

We also went sledding at happy hollow and had a great time

These boys just need to share a room. They're always finding ways to sleep together
We made a snow Pippin

Lazy winter days

We were in church ball mode. I got to go see Josh play a few games and they even made it to the playoffs!
Eating grapes with chopsticks...
They made a spiderweb and it stayed there for a week
Josh also made this chest in wood shop. Its gorgeous!! I can't believe he can made that!

Kate was in the school play Junie B Jones. She even got a solo as "student #5. She did awesome!!

Only the best teachers come to support their "old" kids. We love Mrs. Burns!

And the Young women came to support too!

Kate also was a basketball maniac (playing 3 games a week and having 5 practices). I'm SO thankful she was able to be on the KJH basketball team. It was the  best experience for her and the girls were amazing and so welcoming to the "sevies."

We took a quick getaway to Lava Hot Springs. It was kind of a last minute trip and we didn't stay long but we had a great time! We first stopped in at the community pool.

We stayed in a house that was a bison ranch so we saw lots of animals (and it was stinky!)
The house was really nice and had a cool weight room we checked out

Then it was off to the springs!
We first stopped at a pizza place for dinner and it was SO crowded and took kind of a long time but it was like the only open restaurant

I didn't get any pictures in the hot pools but it was fun! The kids loved it. We soaked, we got hot, (luckily it was super cold outside so it felt nice). It was the kids first time here and it was a hit!

It was good to see Pippin when we got home

And we celebrated our 21st anniversary!!
More basketball....
Josh had a few trainings at the fairpark for soccer that he got to go to.
Jonah celebrated his birthday in school and I got to go read a story to his class to celebrate
Rach went to the New Years dance and we got to host dinner at our house. It was quite fancy
The theme was "Gatsby" and she looked awesome
Trav also got to take her group pictures which was fun

The boys wanted to do a crazy photo
Then the girls reenacted it....
Cute group of kids

My best helper
(to eat the dough)
She's still playing basketball

Taco Time!
"Learn how to change a tire" night
Josh got to compete in a couple indoor track meets. He did great!
Eating pizza with chopsticks. what is it with chopsticks?

When Kate has to dress up for a basketball game for school she's still wearing her running shoes
The kids "helping" on grandma's roof

Here's the good pictures Trav took (not just the ones from my phone)
