December

Somehow all of my December pictures vanished which makes me SO sad because let's be real....I take a million pictures. But luckily, Trav's pictures are going to have to pull us through and he did a good job taking pictures.

These first few are from the Schick Christmas party. I think everyone was able to be there which is getting harder and harder to happen but as always, so good to see everyone.

Kate made it on the Kaysville Jr. High basketball team! Only 3 7th graders made it and her and Erika were 2 of them. It was SO fun to watch them play! This was seriously the best thing that could have happened for her. She made lots of friends and felt a place to fit in. Maybe Jr. High isn't as bad as she thought it would be.

Visiting Grandpa Rex's grave on Christmas Eve is now one of our favorite traditions.

These pictures are all out of order. Sorry. I'm too lazy to put them right. Here we are Christmas morning! Christmas fell on a Sunday which is always nice. The kids woke up super early so we were done with all our presents and breakfast by the time church started.

Of course we had to send them on a crazy scavenger hunt. One of the clues was even at church so they didn't have everything done before....ha ha!
Now we're back to decorating the tree.

Rach got answered to the New Years dance and this is my favorite way of being answered I've seen so far "I got so excited I PEAD on your porch. I'd love to go to the dance with you." Ha ha!

Josh played some futsol this winter

Ward breakfast

Kate in her holiday concert

Rach ran into some friends at Kate's concert
My cute basketball girl

Jonah loves going to all the basketball games.

Rachel's band concert and she nailed a beautiful solo!

We had to try out the peppermint frostys.

I got this one from Jonah's teacher.
He's not dramatic at all!
Visiting the lights for young womens

I love taking these kids to the temple
Gingerbread houses is very serious business

You can tell who decorated for style and who decorated for what treats they get to eat off their house when we're done.

We made a path to grandpas grave so it'd be easier for everyone to walk there. It turned out great.

Always in shorts

Santa visited us on Christmas Eve at grandma's house!

Christmas Eve presents!
New jammies!

Matchy!

At least Santa would smile when he got to our house

At least 1 kids always asks for cheese balls.

The treasure hunt begins!
They found the map!
And the treasure chest!

Now to find the paper birds with the clues to the gold coins....Trav is a genius when it comes to treasure hunts.

Jonah didn't even care about the hunt because he just wanted to build Legos

They had to find words in different books...(still on the hunt)

We finally got breakfast

Wow! What a whirlwind!
Jonah wanted a violin. Unfortunately (or fortunately) this one doesn't actually play like we thought it might. He still likes it.

We got Pippin a cat house for outside. He doesn't like it.....yet.
Trav got a new fancy computer.
Rach made us a yummy cake

My favorite wrapping paper of the day

Sorry this is sideways but Jonah posted this on our front door after Will was being mean to him. It says "No been not e in this hause Will." (No being naughty in this house will)

These 2 ditched us on new years eve so I gave them a fancy drink before they left.
Will is ready to party. This year we had the Harrison's over (the Maynes couldn't come) It was SO much fun to ring in the new year with them!

We needed a picture for our Christmas card so we hurried out back and took one real quick. It totally worked.

Merry Christmas!!
