Keepin' my legs crossed

I know, a little too much information in the title.....but we really don't want this baby to come early and if I pull another stunt like I did on Saturday (working on the house for 12 hours) it will be coming before we know it. Let's just say it's a good thing that Sunday is a day of rest. I do have some pictures of the house though! So here's a taste of what we've gotten ourselves into. So this is the outside of the house.

Here's a picture of the backyard from off of our deck. Cool huh? Who needs to go to the mountains?

Two cute members of our dedicated painting crew. What nice grandpa's we have.

One good reason to have kids......free child labor.

And I know you all want to see the prego lady in all her glory.

We at least have one decoration.

Yes, Trav had to literally risk his life in painting the house. I know this is a little freaky but we have really high ceilings. I'm just glad we don't have any broken necks yet. Let's just hope a lightbulb never burns out (for the next 15 years).

I know this one is ridiculous, but hey, the t.v. came with the house. It won't fit downstairs so we really don't know quite what to do with it. At least the charecters will be life-size for Rach and Josh.

We should have most of the painting done by tonight (hooray!) and the new carpet is coming tomorrow. I am definitely ready to move in because the travel from Draper to Kaysville every day is a LONG drive. So we are planning on moving on Saturday! We've gone to our new ward twice now. Everyone is really nice, but the primary is super small. There are only 2 other kids in Rachel's CTR 4 class and 9 in the nursery with Josh. That's crazy coming from our old ward with lots and lots of kids.

Oh, and today is mine and Trav's 8th anniversary! So I just want to say happy anniversary to the love of my life. Thanks for the best 8 years of my life and I guess we'll have to celebrate by painting the house.

  2. Yay, I'm so glad that you are finally getting so close to moving! Can't wait to play with you guys more often. And you're right...that picture was way too scary to even look at - now that is some dedicated painting! Oh, and there is no way you are ready to have a baby...I look that big and I'm only 6 months along...seriously!
