Fantastic Florida!!

Day 3 was Universal Studios!

We told the kids that we knew they'd want to stop and look at stuff but that we were headed straight to Gringotts first thing...which was the very back of the park.

Walking into the Harry Potter part of the park is a surreal experience. This is the time I wish the most that we didn't have masks on so I could fully see the kids faces. It was magic!

We made it to Gringotts and rode it twice without waiting in line at all. Jonah could even ride it and loved it!
Weasley's Wizarding Weazes...
One bad thing about Universal is they don't have a lot of rides for little kids. Disney is definitely better for kids Jonah's age. So we did a lot of hanging out while the others went on rides. We had a little snack by Jaws so we were good.

Then we rode the Hogwarts Express to the other park. (Islands of Adventure)

Walking into Hogsmeade.....SO cool!

We rode all the Harry Potter rides (which really are the best part....especially Hagrids motorbike ride. AMAZING!!) Then some wanted to go get wet on Riptide Falls.

Jonah had more come- aparts.....a lot of waiting in line and not being able to go on them. But Universal lets everyone back on the ride for rider swap...which the other kids all loved.
This is where Jonah could play!

Then back to Hogsmeade!
Will's favorite store. He bought some really expensive gummy worms here.

First taste of real butterbeer!

Getting the last drop. So good!!

Then we had the great feast at the 3 Broomsticks. Definitely the best meal we had on our trip! (apart from lunch at the Stocks)

One last ride on Hagrids. It really was so much fun. I know I keep saying that but I can't describe it any other way.

Tried to get Josh under that bubble...missed it by a second.

Ahhh Universal.....we love you!!
