Marching

Guess who had a birthday in March?

Dad!! I think the kids were more excited for his birthday than he was. They wouldn't even let him get out of bed before opening presents.

Trav's been SOO busy at work lately that we feel like we've hardly even seen him in a couple months. So we decided that his theme for his birthday was to "be a kid again" No work, no responsibilities....So his presents all revolved around that. Nothing practical here!

I did make him get out of bed for my present. He had to go downstairs to see his new giant TV for the bonus room!! It'll be awesome once we can actually hang it up and use it!

Trav jumped on the tramp with the kids for a long time. It was well overdo because they all had a blast!

He went mountain biking that afternoon while the rest of us got ready for his party. I invited some of his high school buddies over for dinner...which I didn't even get a picture of everyone! Bummer! But he had fun hanging out with his friends (when their kids weren't destroying our house and my puzzle  *sniff). It was such a fun, relaxing day. Just what he needed!
Speaking of hanging out with friends....I went and got treats with the old Young Women Presidency late one night. I miss working with these amazing women every week!!
I have a lot of random pictures of Jonah that I think are funny. This one documenting his "owie" on his toe.
Kate teaching Jonah how to play the piano...

 Passing out....anywhere...
Whoops, this one rotated the wrong way. He insists he doesn't need naps anymore (clearly)

Rachel's band teacher, Mr. Simon was the lead at Centerpoints Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and she got to go see him.
The boys building Mt. Everest at the park.
This kid is OBSESSED with books. Like, as bad as Kate was at this age. He wants to read all day long. He's reading one of his favs in this picture: Secret Pizza Party.
 Trouble.
April Fool's was good to us this year. It's hard to tell in this picture but Trav made it almost impossible for them to make it up the stairs.
Rach did lots of tricks on us this year. She decorated for other holidays...
 Graffiti-ed the pictures....

 And toilet papered our bedroom!

Then we watched Conference. Some more attentive than others.....
Happy Spring!
