Babies and Baseball

My baby is not acting so baby-ish anymore. That little stinker turned 10 months!! How dare he?!? He still does not love the monthly photo shoots we have with stickers and now he's a lot more able to rip the suckers off.
After 0.3 seconds of having the sticker on, it was off. So I tried to improvise. Luckily I got one of my all-time favorites of his classic fishy face....

He does it ALL the time and it's so cute!
 Pucker up!
I tried to enlist Kate's help with getting at least 1 picture with the tie on. He didn't love that.
And he still tried to rip it off....

Look at that look he gives me as he crumples it up into a ball....

He is so so cute. Seriously the happiest little kid ever and I couldn't love him more than I do. I've been blessed the past 10 months to have him in my life.
Now for the baseball. After weeks of being glued to the baseball parks we are done! I kinda wish it would have been a better season for Josh. He had fun but they only pulled out 1 win the whole season. Bummer. But at least he looked good!
He was always nice to welcome adoring fans to the dugout.

 Spittin' seeds...

Dad was the first base coach a few times.

He actually did really great and got an awesome hit on one of his last games. He also was a great fielder and got several guys out. Good job Josh!

Mother's Day!

Honestly the best day of the year!! I woke up to breakfast in bed, gifts from the kids (both homemade and store bought. I was totally spoiled! I even got new dishes!!!), amazing church, I'm pretty sure I even got a nap that day. And I got a cute picture with my favorite little people. We had a great dinner with the Maughan's that night at "The Ranch," and I felt so loved all day long. I'm pretty sure that's how mom's are supposed to feel on that day.

Seriously the luckiest mama in the world!!

One of my gifts was the game Bop It (which we've played a million times and I totally creamed everyone in...might I add) Will lovingly fell asleep with it one afternoon.
This kid keeps growing like a weed.
 Same with this crazy kid.

 Love those little toothy grins.
Once in a while I'll go to get Jonah up from his nap to find this situation going on.

At least they're cute buddies and like each other. I hope it stays that way.

Spring sprung

We survived spring! I honestly think that's a miracle that we survived it so well. First we had to plant the garden....

 (in jammies and rainboots)
Lot's of tinkling of the ivories...
Yoda and a Storm Trooper were cruisin' the neighborhood....

This little guy crawls everywhere and gets into EVERYTHING!  Don't let that innocent face fool you.
Or this not-so-innocent face....He prepared his own lunch this day. Peanut butter and fruit snacks. I think he's on to something there.
We were able to go to the Homestead for Trav's work retreat. We brought the kids which was fun. They had dinner on the balcony.

We walked around, took them swimming, then Trav and I had our fancy dinner while they watched Star Wars in the room. It was a short, but fun getaway. Luckily, no dislocated elbows this time.

The little boys have had fun playing in the sandbox.
Jonah has his smoulder face down!

Not too shabby playing in this foresty backyard!

Just as a side-note....Will was playing with his buddy, Liam, in the sandbox not too long after these pictures. I went inside for a minute only to look out the window and see Will peeing IN the sandbox! I ran out there and asked him 'why on earth are you peeing in the sandbox?' He said, "It's easier to play with wet sand." Ummmm......gross. But also very creative.

At least he wears out once in a while!
